2012 Manager Appreciation Day

Manager Appreciation Day at Brier Creek Country ClubCAS joined PPM, Omega, and Charleston at the Brier Creek Country Club for the 2012 Manager Appreciation Day. The event celebrated and honored the work of our community managers while raising money for charity. Managers had an opportunity to network, meet with vendors and enjoy themselves.

The event raised $8,000 for the non-profit Extraordinary Ventures, which provides employment and social opportunities to young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

CAS Honored at Community Associations Intitute North Carolina Annual Conference

CAS attended the Community Associations Intitute North Carolina Chapter’s annual conference in Raleigh. For the third year in a row a CAS manager won the Onsite Manager of the Year Award. Congratulations to Judy Marshall at St. James Plantation! Prior winners include Mike Zmuda at Hedingham in 2010 and Dennis McGarvey at Governors Club in 2009.

Lunch & Learn for CAS Large Scale Management Clients

CAS hosted a Lunch & Learn at the Pinehurst Resort for CAS Large Scale Management clients consisting of associations with on-site management staff. In attendance were representatives from St. James Plantation, Governors Club, Seven Lakes West, Hedingham, Fairfield Harbour, Oyster Harbour, and Seven Lakes Landowners Association.

Participants enjoyed a variety of informative presentations:

CAS Opens New Office in Wilmington, NC

Community Association Services (CAS), which offers homeowner and condominium services, has opened its newest office in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Katie Patnode, Certified Manager of Community Associations, will manage the Wilmington office, which is located at 1213 Culbreth Drive, Suite 112. The telephone number is 910.509.7197, ext. 1301.

The CAS main office is located in Pinehurst. Other CAS offices are located in the Chapel Hill/Durham, Raleigh, Apex/Cary, and Greensboro/Winston-Salem areas.

CAS represents the Blue Point HOA Inc. in New Hanover County, as well as St. James Plantation POA, Marina at St. James, Regency Place Owners Association, Seaside and Oyster Harbour Homeowners Association in Brunswick County.

“CAS is excited to open our coastal management office in Wilmington,” says John Stone, CAS President and CEO. “With 6,000 units currently under management in New Hanover and Brunswick counties, we have obviously received a very warm reception thus far and see this part of the state as a major growth area. We intend to become a major part of the condominium and home owner association community here for many years to come.”
